Dr. Bettina Love Speaks at Bryt Symposium

Today, we attended the Bryt Symposium! Bryt is a program that helps students that have mental health challenges re-enter into their classes full time. There, our Office Coordinator, Sarojini, and intern, Lauren, attended a presentation by Dr. Bettina L. Love called “We Gon’ Be Alright, But That Ain’t Alright” Abolitionist Teaching and the Pursuit of Educational Freedom. We appreciate the insight she shared and her support of teachers, parents and caregivers who are fighting injustices in their schools and communities.
